I am such a perfectionist
Exactly. A blessing and a curse to be sure!

honest to god, I don't know how I'm going to make it through the whole test burn, lol! Despite the snow on the ground, I might need to crack a window! 😆
LOL That's how I feel about Vanilla Bean - and you'd think with 3 dogs I'd be grateful for any 'pleasing' aroma!
Hang in there.

I will never spend another penny on GB/AKOsoy or ecosoya ever again.
Me neither.
I believe my marketing strategy until this drek is sold is, "These are handmade items, lovingly crafted so imperfections are normal." You know, kind of like the labels on dyed 100% cotton clothing.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one in this boat. EcoSoya is not my favorite but I have 4 cases I need to get rid of (sweet Husband surprised me with lots of wax!). I'd love to just pour it all and sell it at the local fair this summer, but I can't even find a wick that works well with a 4oz ball jar (sans color or frag).
Ugh.

Thanks, Michael. Problend is on the list to try so I'll order a bit and test. What is the diameter of the CS 8 oz jar?

Mix it with 4630 if u have any or even 6006. It will make it manageable until its gone. Or just chuck it with a big smile. I wasted too much time and money on that junk trying to make it work. Lol
Ohhhh....now you mention it, Husband says there's some 4630 kicking around. I'll do some experimenting today and post any success in the next week.
Thanks again - this is a lovely community!

If you think soy is difficult to master, especially with the inconsistencies, beeswax is like jumping out of the frying pan into the fire. It is different from bag to bag. Plus, you need to find a wick that will burn beeswax cleanly, which leaves you with very few options.
Id stick with either adding more paraffin or more soy and dial in from there.
Thanks, TallTayl. I think that's what I'll do. Love your puppy, BTW! Bet she/he loves to assist.

You made me laugh!
Yeah, I'm not enjoying this stuff but Husband will not be happy if we have to chuck all of it. Was contemplating a beeswax, 25/75. Any experience with that blend?

Hi, All. I'm new to the board and really enjoying all the great info.
I have a bunch of Quantum I'm not having any luck with. Any suggestions what to blend it with just to make it usable?

Not surprising. The soy economic landscape is forever changed. I just hope other suppliers can keep up with demand - 🙁
