I would start with either a cd12 or eco10 in that size.
You dont want want it to completely reach the edges until a couple of burns in otherwise it will be far too hot by the second half.
3I found several wick guides and it recommends slightly different wick sizes so I didn't know where to start.
I will start with them as you recommended. Thank you so much

Hello, Im a beginner and i need a help!!
Ive tried to make a container candle with nature c-3 wax. The container is 7.75oz libbey lexington jar and it has 2 7/8 inches diameter.
What wick do you recommend?
should i do a wick test after mixing with dye and fo?
Also, it has to have a melt pool reaching to a wall of container after 2hrs burning? Or it shouldnt touch the glass?
I checked how to do the wick test in youtube and internet. And it really confuses me..

q230 pillar candle wick...

Im struggling so much to find the right wick for my 3” soy pillar candle. Im using q230.
I found ones with lx and htp wicks burned clean and had less mushroom.
But they always spilt over or it collapsed as the melt pool reached to the edge after 3-4 burns.
I started with lx 22 as recommended and i recently did even with lx 10 but same results..
Is there anyone who decides a wick for pillar candles from q230?
