  1. I am new to the group and only been making candles for 2 years. I just got the Q210 and I hated all the smoke, i thought I was doing something wrong. I used 6006 before and really had so many issues finding a wick that I wanted to give up but I did find a wick and made a nice candle. but I wanted to try soy so a few months ago started with c-3 and then 444....I let them cure but nothing thats why I got the Q210 because it was hyped up so much and ugh . I need a wax or wax combination advice..because a nice candle is not gonna do well you have to have an amazing candle with scent. Any suggestions or should I just hang it up??/

  2. I am regretting my decision moving to soy wax even though I have long burning, clean containers....I have no scent and for the life of me I dont get it. I am heating the wax to 180. But here comes the tricky part. Some people say add frag and color at that temp then some say at 160. And the 3 waxes I have are C3, 444. And Q210. I also make tarts but the Q210 is all I have used for those. Can I add something to help with the scent and cut the cure time. I used coconut oit and I purchased vybar.I have heard so many pour temps that I can not begin to explain. I need some help I have been doing 6006 for almost 1 and half years and I wanted something different....(Silly me).

  3. Hey y'all....

Guess where I am from...? Lol

    Lisa here from Dallas, Texas

I am a 45 year old mom who started making candles about 2 years ago. I have been doing so much research and testing preparing for the day my nest became empty and I would start my own business. Well nest is empty (GIG EM) and I have all my ducks in a row to start my business but stupid me decides I need more fragrance and and wanted to try soy and now I am,just wanting to pull my hair out. I have the c3, 444 and the new q210. But the time it takes to even try one is way to long. I have read so many opinions now I am just lost. I bought vybar and used coconut oil ....I have bath products that are amazing and super creative and my first show is on the 18th. Anyone with advice please sound in. And yes making candlles and bath and body is my career now that mom job is part time and I am too old to dance professionally ballroomm...maybe that's too out of shape.
