I have to say, making candles has given me a new satisfaction I haven't had in years.  The fact that my wife and I are doing it together just makes it that much better.  There is a certain de-stressing that occurs when making these that's akin to hot cup of coffee, listening to Jazz, and swinging on the front porch.  Or maybe it's related to prepping and slow smoking ribs on the smoker all day.  Whatever it is, it's good for me.
