Hello,
I am looking for an elegant vanilla that is slightly bakery but does not smell sickening sweet. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I love Aztec's Tobacco. Its beautiful and many customers love it.

Oh my goodness. I ordered from RE, ICS and CS based on the great recommendations from boardies, and I put in an Aztec order just a few minutes ago...before I saw this. 😢
If one of the others doesn't pan out, I'll give the one from Aztec a go. Thank you.
If anyone else has any recommendations, give 'em to me. I don't have a problem owning copious amounts of FO. 😆
Call them and maybe they can throw in a sample 🙂

I really like Aztec's Baked apple pie.

I really love Candle cocoon's Patchouli. I have been very happy with their quality oils. tried several and none smelled authentic to me or not even close... but I have not tried Community Candle.
-
I used Filmore Christmas tree last year after all of the great reviews. I really did not care for it at all. I would love to find a good Thymes type Frazier Fir if anyone can recommend one.

Have you ordered yet? Definitely try the Voodoo Love, it is amazing!!!
Not yet but am planning on it soon! Very curious about it...I tend to like scents that have patchouli notes.

i ordered Butternut Pumpkin from Lonestar and really like it for a "classic pumpkin" scent. Even after a short cure (3 days) its strong in my millennium wax.

The Pumpkin Pancakes is pumpkin, butter and maple, a little nutty maybe, not as spicy. The pancake really comes through. The PGS is a spicier bakery pumpkin. The Pumpkin Pancake has a stronger throw.
Have tried their whipped Pumpkin Pie?

I'm not crazy about PPW's but it's popular. FB has a good one and I also think CW's Pumpkin pancakes smells almost the same to me.
Pumpkin SPice-Aztec
Cinnamon Pumpkin Bread-FB
Pumpkin Harvest-ICS
Harvest Pumpkin-Cierra
Cinnamon Pumpkin Souflee-FB
Pumpkin Sugared Donuts-FB
Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin-FB

Ole South Pumpkin Pie-Oregon Trails-Haven't put this one in wax but it smells good OOB.
I just got in Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin from Peak and I'm not crazy about it OOB but I plan to try to get it in wax soon.
Butternut Pumpkin from LS is good too
The Great Pumpkin from TCS is also good
I have Pumpkin Caramel swirl I think from Aztec
Pumpkin Apple Butter-NG
There are a couple more that I can't think of.
I would have to say my personal favorites are Pumpkin pie spice RE, Pumpkin vanilla marshmallow, Pumpkin Sugared donuts and harvest Pumpkin but they're all good!
Can you tell I love pumpkin scents! LOL! I'm sure some of these kind of smell alike and I could consolidate some I guess.
I saw in another post you like Autumn Leaves from CW? Is it more of an earthy or sophisticated type scent? its in my cart to try. Also want to try Voodoo Love.

The only one I've used from FB is Pumpkin Pie Perfection. It's kinda blah. I like the Pumpkin Ginger Streusel from CW, and the Pumpkin Pancakes is great, but I have not tried their Pumpkin Chai. My absolute favorite pumpkin is from CS....Toasted Pumpkin Spice. It is a very nice pumpkin that is not too spicy. Their Pumpkin Chai is also good. I don't like my pumpkins overly spicy.
Can you tell me the differences in the Pumpkin Ginger Streusel from CW, and the Pumpkin Pancakes? Is one more pumpkin than bakery? I am going to place an order and cant decide between these.

I know this has been discussed before but I was curious of everyone's current favorite pumpkin scent. I used Flaming Candles's Pumpkin Chai and really liked it would like to try Candlewics version. Also if anyone has used any of Fragrance Buddy's Pumpkin scents. Any recommendations for a Pumpkin Spice?

Does anyone else think Fillmore's Christmas Tree smells different? And not in a good way.
I heard so many good things about it, ordered it and did not care for it at all! I agree with katmeltswax Flamings Balsam fir is very nice. I use it alone or mix with their cedar for a balsam cedar. I love Flaming Candle so many great fragrances and their customer service is excellent.

Hello. Does anybody know of a Phthalate free fragrance twin or close match to RE's Bonfire Bliss? I like this as a blender but it is not Phthalate free. Thanks

It sounds nice, I may try some this year. I was reading a review and someone said they thought it seemed to be "cleaner burning" or less oily than some others. If I get some, I'll be sure to post my thoughts about it!
I will be curious to hear your thoughts. I am considering playing with blending it with their 100% soy container wax to cut cost a bit. I liked the container wax for the same reasons as the Millennium but tops with container alone were not as nice. I have talked to a woman that had good results blending container wax with 464...so am curious.

I am in love with JS Farmer's Market right now!

That's interesting, thank you! Are there some other major differences that stand out to you in your experience? I see that it comes in pellets rather than flakes, and it seems as though the recommended temperature for heating might be a bit lower. Does it have a shinier appearance at all? Thanks again!
I don't really notice it being shinier but its been a bit since i have worked with others to compare. I heat to 160 and add fragrance at 135 then pour when it starts to get milky. Just really was my favorite to work with and am happy with the results. Seems really clean to me (if that makes sense :-)).

I haven't done much reading about Millennium, so I thought I'd finally take a few moments and go out to read on a few sites. I hope you don't mind if I ask you a question about it. It seems to me that this wax is very white rather than a light ivory color as some other soy waxes, is that true? For some candle designs, this could be a nice change.
Hello there. Yes when I started working with it I noticed that it seemed whiter than the 464 I was using. I liked that about it. You can ask all you want.

After a lot of testing I have figured out that I like Millennium wax with CD wicks. I get a good throw with a week's cure. Some oils perform better than others of course. :-)
-
I love Candle Science and The Chemistry Store since they carry Lebermuth fragrance oils both in my opinion are high quality fragrance oils. I like some Fragrance Buddy and some Flaming but a lot of duds.
-
Hello!
This is the wax I use. I use CD wicks ,8% FO added at 130 degrees, pour as cool as possible cure for about a week and it works good for me.
