  1. Hi everyone!

I have a wholesale customer who is requesting that I ship my room sprays in packs of four to reduce breakage during shipping, as they are 4 oz glass bottles. Up until now, I have just shipped them individually wrapped in bubble wrap and have not had any issues. Should I get cardboard dividers and individial boxes for each set? This will be extremely costly and also add to the package weight. Any ideas on how to ship in packs of four?

    Thanks!

What I am finding so strange is that no matter what wick I test with, it leaves a side clump at the bast of the wick. Its almost like the wax is too dense or something to allow it to travel up and dissipate. It just collects at base of wick where it enters the wax. If nothing else, its just a very unappealing site.

I have never, NEVER messed with a wax so difficult to wick. This is crazy. Lol

And how the different sites are saying that tested with Eco or HTP (and they provided sizes of the wicks and jars for the test).... its just BS. I dont trust ANY of those reviews from suppliers. Its like they burned it once and said "yep, its fine".

Nope, its not. :/  We need to get the collective candle makers on here to put on their testing hats and try to figure out what works (if anything) with this wax.

This is so strange! I'm starting to notice the same thing about the wax clumps on the wicks.  I've attached pics. These were taken after a 4 hr burn.

What ??? Thats crazy . Is that for the 210 - 220+ 230 as well ? I saw that Flaming has some available now but I think its only the 210 ??? IDK don't quote me

maybe it was the 220 ? Have you ordered any to test ? Do you make melts ?

I have not yet ordered, although I would like to soon! I'm pretty sure that all of the new ecosoya waxes are capable of holding 18% FO. I do not make melts.

  4. I know, they are so expensive! I haven't found a supplier yet, luckily I haven't spent much time on this project. Lol. I'm thinking if it isn't tapered, it could just fall into the jar and get stuck. I could be wrong.

  5. Thanks for the responses! The hole saw is a good idea! I was hoping to find a tapered hole cutter of some kind, but I'm not having any luck unfortunately. The sander seems to be a little above my capabilities. I was hoping to be able to do this myself and not have to recruit my husband. Lol. I may have to rethink my design because I am not willing to pay $4+ for one cork stopper.

  6. I would like to cut tapered cork stoppers (I've attached a pic.) Any ideas how to do this, besides cutting each one by hand? Is there a specific tool? I was thinking a cookie cutter, but I cannot find a tapered one. I would like the widest part to be around 4 inch diameter.

  7. Hi everyone! I've been a long time "lurker" and I have truly enjoyed reading everything and learning from all of you!

I recently started experimenting with 402 wax. There are not many threads on here talking about it! From my testing, I have to wait until the slushy stage to pour in order to get a smooth top. I did read on a supplier's site that they have had success pouring between 140 and 150 degrees. Has anyone had success with this?
