  1. Hi,

Sorry if this is a repeat question but I've noticed the wax in a few of my candles turns yellow after burning. The wax is originally white. It's always in a wax pool closer to the wicks. I don't notice it until the pool is dry. I use HTP's. Do you think this is an issue for customer's or something many will overlook? Thank you

  2. I will keep testing. Based on the HTP guidelines, I should be able to go up in wick size. The diameter for 93's is 1.81 with 2 wicks that's just 3.62. I think I'm way off on the size of these wicks. You are correct, they aren't perfectly centered either but not off by that much so I'm thinking it's more of the wick size then anything. I may consider trying CD's again but I really like HTP's with this wax. Thank you for responding Trappeur!

  3. Hello,

I'm a newbie to posting but I've been lurking around for quite some time. Thank you to the vets for your wealth of knowledge.

I am having a similar problem with my jars as well. After two, 4 hour burns my melt pool hasn't reached the the edge of my jars. The diameter is 4.7 inches. Very wide. My last test I used two HTP 104's and I was happy with the melt pool but the jar got pretty hot half way down. This time I'm testing HTP 94. I'm using 6006 at 10% load. My jars are metal so they can withstand heat great but of course I want them to be save. Can someone tell me if I should be concerned with how this looks after two, 4 hour burns?
