  1. If you dont mind me asking ....What is everyone using for gift bags and from where?? I'm looking for a small gift bag with handles paper or frosted plastic . Prefer supplier in the Northeast or east coast. Any suggestions? Thanks for the great advice in advance!!

  2. Ok , I just made my first batch of whipped butter . It looks great , feels good but a little greasy ! IT stinks like S@#t!! I added some fragrance but that sticks too. Are their better fragrances to add to cover the unrefined smell??Do I need to melt back down to add more butter or cornstarch? Thanks again!! Amy

  3. Hi everyone,

Could someone explain how the different butters and oils work. I see all of these recipes for body butters ect and I can't figure out how to figure out percents. I want to just play around with a small recipe for a body butter or whip for myself . I have shea unrefined , cocoa prime pressed natural, mango, candelilla wax (cosmetic grade) soy butter , and some oils. Is it 60% butters 40 % oils? I'm just clueless as you can tell. Any enlightment will be very appreciated.

    thanks in advance

  4. Hi Everyone ,

Haven't been here in awhile and still very NEW and all this!! What do all you who use soy bases use for your lotion?? Does anyone use the one from Soy Wholesale? Maybe this is really stupid but is that really better because it says soy lipids for $32.00 a gal? or is the other bases for 14.95 a gal still just as good?? I love the one I have been buying it feels great but looking for advice, since I hate breaking the bank!!!:angry2: Thanks, Amy

  7. Has anyone ever used the soy lip balm base from The Chemistry store? It feels really good in the jar but I melted it and poured into lip tins and it seems too hard to me . Very good looking and smells and taste great but not reallu sure about the rest. I would like it a little softer/creamier. Any ideas? It said to heat to 150 and I never tested ...DUMB ... but never saw those directions till after... oops :embarasse
