Yes. Mine hold about 40 pounds. I fill, use and if I have not used all of the wax, I turn it off, put the lid on and heat back up and add more wax for next pouring.

I found this pic that I posted here a year or so ago. Shows scale. My stainless Presto holds 8 pounds, for reference. My whole business is wax melts. I would have to have a few of these if I made jar candles.

Hi, I've spent the last few days researching turkey fryers but I'm at a loss. My little presto can no longer keep up with the demand and I want to purchase 2-3 turkey fryers but wasnt sure which one would work for melting wax. Can you help? I posted a link below of one of many that I've found to see if that would work. Thank you

  2. Hello everyone. My name is Marlene and I've been making candles and body care products for about 14 years. I started as a hobby when I was pregnant the first time and could not find work. It quickly turned into more than just a hobby. I always had the fear of going out on my own and continued to climb up the corporate ladder while still making products on the side. Over a year ago I took the plunge to be on my own and have not looked back. I had a baby a few months ago and after a scary pregnancy I'm back at it and super, super busy.

I absolutely love this community but never took the time to sign up. Excited to make some connections. Hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday!
