I wonder if it was your warmer. Three or four drops of fragrance in my warmer and it can gag you. I can't imagine putting 2 ounces of anything in my warmers.
She is scenting 1 pound of salt crystals and then putting some of those in the warmer, a small scoop or tablespoon amount of the scented salt. Agree with you on putting that much oil in the warmer at once, gag city.

I made a few batches and I am getting no hot throw from my warmer I used 1/2 oz per 16 oz.
I had to use more than 1/2 oz. I think it was 1 1/2 to 2 ozs. If you put a tablespoon or so of the salts in a warmer that wouldn't be much fragrance oil. I would try upping the ratio.

I had people asking me this all week end at our barn sale because I was selling refresher oil for my potpourri and they wanted to know if they could use it in there diffuser. I said if if I bought my diffuser for something like DoTerra oils that cost $45 an oz then I wouldn't mix candle frag oils in there. Some people buy EOs for migraines or other health issues. But if you were using it for aromatherapy purposes go ahead.

No that is a picture from google, but I think that is epsom salt.

Holiday Nest is wonderful. I think I get it from Bulk Apothecary. I use in potpourri and it has sold out first for the last two years, even after doubling the amount the second year. This year I am hoping to have enough for the whole fall winter season. I call it Winter Tyme. I also smell pomegranate, mandarin orange, pine, cloves and cinnamon with a hint of vanilla.

Wow wow wow. Bet that fights the middle of the night onion hands!

That was some incredible work. The Sassanach (English rose and Scottish heather) sounds intriguing.

That is too pretty, probably smells divine. Pear is a great blender, as versatile as apple.

Re-naming Smelly Jellies
in Wickless
Posted
I would like to come up with a different name for smelly jellies. Using small and tall jelly jars with a galvanized lid. Marketing for farmhouse decor so anything relatable to that genre would be great. I am usually good at this but smelly jelly is such a good simple name I can't get to something as great. I was thinking of something like FarmHouse Jellies but don't want anyone to think it is truly jelly and attempt to eat it. 🤢
Need help! 🙄🙄🙄
