To me, Save on Scents has the best Ginger/ Lime (concentrated version)...It smells so strong...it almost smells rotten OOB. It is awesome! Throws great in soy. My best thrower in all soy.

I totally agree! Must try their Magic of India (my fav so far), Maduro, Grapefruit/Watermelon, Antahala Vanilla, Indonesian Teak..... I can go on and on!
-
I bought their Medditernean Fig and I have to say...this smells just like Ripe Mango.
I have bought many mango FOs to try and have found none like this. Mango is my favorite fruit and I have been eating them since I was a baby. My parents are from the islands...and it's a common fruit. Does anyone else agree? I asked another person who is a big mango lover what they thought. She thought the same. Smells like very ripe mangos. YUM

It not a protective response. It was a response that merrits the questions.
What we were saying is there is no short cuts no pat answers. Most candle making is reseach and trial and error what works for one won't work for another.
You GO GIRL!!!

Had the same thing happen to me this time around with Peaks Pink Sugar...but can't seem to get it uncrystalized...even when putting bottle in warm water.
I do know my order as held up with UPS because of some cold storm they had.

Geek made me laugh...it's all his fault!

The Eco4 and Eco6 are working for me in the 8oz Metro Jars. I am having problems wicking the 12oz Metro....but Brenda is going to try and help us out with that jar. I don't care much for the Eco's and might switch over to a comparable CD, but for now that is what's working for me.

I use perfumers blend and a tad of coconut oil. I use the cyclo for a room spray.
-
I am suggesting Greenleaf ...their para/veggie blend is really nice. Talk to Brenda...she probably will be able to help you with your tarts. One lady made some really nice ones and posted pics on their website.

Hello Maureen,
You have come to the right place. If it weren't for all these great people here on CT...I probably would have given up already. I have very little patience and soy candle making has helped me out alot....it has also very theraputical for me.
Welcome and Happy Candlemaking!!!

Yes I am using the 8oz Metro/Status jar. The CD12 usually works for me with the Advanced...so I thought I'd try that first, but it tunneled on me. Not sure if I should go up or down next. I am also testing their Perfect Blend...so I think I'll try to stick to testing one wax at a time.....or else I will go crazy!
-
It works for me! You can also see it in Greenleaf's message board under natural candle wax.
I bought the wax from them...it's their own blend.
www.greenleafcandlesupply.com I will post my burn pics if I can ever get the right wick combo...My life's story! ..LOL!

So far.....None
-
Yes a single pour. NO bubbles at all! I think you poured too hot. I don't go by instruction...I went by what I do with my other wax.
-
I heated to 185
Added dye chip and FO (pink sugar)
Mixed Gently...very gently
Cooled to 125
Heated my jars a little with heat gun..so they weren't so cold
Temp in house was 70
Voila!
What are you doing? I poured 2 of them and they both look alike.

This is what Greenleafs All Natural Wax looks like the next day. I poured this last night. No REPOUR. No heating tops. Adhesion is great. The cold throw is awesome! I will be burning this today. I have to say...there is alot of great talk about the Perfect Blend 70/30...but this all Natural stuff..ROCKS! and their Customer Service is the Best!
copy and paste into browser... http:/img397.imageshack.us/my.php?image=greenleafpic3hi.jpg

If you can afford it....buy the 10lbs. If you don't like it (which I'm sure you will like it), You'll have no problem selling it in the classified section.

Greenleaf for a para/soy blend
Ecosoya for all soy
Are my picks!
(testing Greenleafs all natural soy/veggie blend today)
-
I use the CD's too! with Cb Adv.

Any chance I could eliminate the thin film that the wax leaves behind on my container? It's very very thin...but want to know if this can be eliminated somehow...so the jar looks clear as they are burning down.

I am in Florida near Orlando. We have nothing in Florida. Wish we did.
I am buying from Greenleaf, Candlescience or Peaks.
