-

:yay: I get to take out my frustration or if my husband is frustrated, I'll let him! LOL
-
Thank You for all the GREAT ideas!! :yay:
Now to look up the guy on Ebay and see what he has right now.
-
So get out the MAJOR destruction supplies!
-
have a scale....(gasp).....
Should I buy one with this batch of 50# of wax? I'm thinking YES....but what kind works best for the need? :rolleyes2 :embarasse
-
Well, I got my LARGE #50 batch of wax. We got it during some NASTY snow. It is from BC & It is the comfort blend.
Stupid question should I yell at the UPS guy for dropping in in the SNOW drift to the left of the door? At least it wasn't my other box(Had major $$ of stuff).
Now mind you the wax is wrapped in plastic and in 2 blocks....BUT HOW IN HECK DO YOU CUT IT....:embarasse
I WANNA USE IT, but can't figure out what is best...I don't want to ruin it!!
Would a electric knife work or a really big knife, but should it be a smooth blade or serated? Hmmm....knives....Maybe I'll have my DH cut it! LOL:rolleyes2
Also best way to cut big blocks likes this? Slice, squares, Sliced & then halved?

Well, the spilled milk in the wax yesterday was just a sign that something was very wrong with DH. He is a type 1 diabetic and his sugar was extremely high. He went and laid down after the milk incident on the bed and after about 10 mins I went in their to give him a hard time. He appeared to be ignoring me but that certainly was not the case. His sugar level was so high he became unresponsive. I had to call 911 and get him to the hospital. He is doing somewhat better today. I was just going to leave him alone since I thought he was ignoring me. If I would have left him alone he wouldn't be here today. It was a bumpy night last night because the doctors did not know if they were going to able to bring his sugar level down. Pretty stressed out especially with 3 kids 10, 4 & 2. Feel bad for venting now even thought it was in fun.
OMG!!! I'm so glad you were able to catch the problem like you did!! I hope he is doing better and keeps getting better. I know kids are a stress! I have a 2 1/2 yr old autistic daughter, a 16 mth son, & a 7 wk old daughter....so I understand being stressed!!
You'll be in my prayers as will your family through this all!

I'm looking into doing bears and just want to get opinions on what each of you like and what you do and what wax and Fo's you find work best. I'm getting ready to do my first batch and want to make sure I do this the right way! :yay::yay:

I'm not trying to be a stinker and light anybody up. Just trying to shine the light on a different perspective.
take care "ya'll"
Chris, I agree with you. I had the hardest time for awhile realizing how much bashing goes on in the world, since it is daily and you are in it everywhere. As a Christian also, I totally agree with what you said. Respect is hard to find.
I find that if I tell my DH what is going on, he either helps(however he can) or he stays out of the way so I can do my thing!
Like Chris, I don't want to start anything....just wanted to let Chris & others know I do agree and also mention how I handle the situation.
I know it can get frustrating!!! But remember you did have that GREAT batch!!! Love to hear what you decided to do with your batch!:smiley2:
Have a great day!

What size JJ are the best? I'm looking for some good ones and all of them seem the same to me! What is the difference in JJ's beyond size?
Thanks!

When wicking them, what do you do?
Thank You in advance!
-
Here they are for you! BC is selling them! :smiley2:

I would be interested too for the gift/pamper baskets, I'm working on!
I haven't been able to find any myself!

I NEED your help...I'm not sure where to even start...I want a scent and I want to mix this just right! So any ideas are greatly appreciated! :smiley2:
I want a gentle, soft, fairy, magical feeling from the scent. Any ideas? This will be a candle I will be naming after my daughter, but the scent I just can't find!
Wax even and container...It is all just not coming together...I can't seem to find what I think would work best.
My daughter is 2 1/2 and the reason I want a special candle is she is autistic and I want a candle to be set soley for her. I think the name will be something like Ella's Enchantment, but I won't know til I get the final product.
Any ideas!!

I'm in IL and tha is why I asked the question. Has anyone tried their wax? I am hoping to be able to use theirs and save some money in shipping. I'm on South of them about 3-4 hrs, but I would make the trip if they have good supplies!!! What waxes have been tried? I would like to hear opinions on them.

I'm looking at ordering some Wax from them:
IGI E-Z Comfort Pour(container)
Anyone dealt with them?
-
What is the best wax to start out with? I looked at the website(s) and there are SOOO many to pick from, Beeswax, etc. How much lbs should you buy?
-
Thank You! I appreciate your honest opionon on my list!
-
Well you are going to hate my answer, keep the stirring stick, mold and thermometer. Junk the rest and go buy you a good kit from a reputable candle supply company. Peak Candle Supplies http://www.peakcandle.com/ has some very nice kits at a reasonable price.
You really don't have enough there to do anything.
What I figured!!!! GRRR!!! :undecided Money wasted...oh, well...I learned a lesson!
I will look at the kits! Thanks!
