  1. I am curious how you test different percentages of fragrance oil without wasting a lot of oil. What I have been doing is using votives with 6%, 7.5% and 9% and in my 3022 wax. I also use a CD8 or CDN8 wick for this test.  I put them in same size rooms, close the door and go in and smell each ht after an hour or two. Wondered if there was a faster and less expensive way to test what strength of fo you want to use in your wax.

    Any help is appriciated!

  2. I tried the Aztec version and the one from RE and sent both to potential customer.  Both were strong but the customer said RE version had more depth to the scent and more staying power.

I never knew that RE carried the scent as well. I'll have to try it!

    Thank you!

  3. Aztec's version of the volcano dupe, 6006 wax, CD and LX wicks, 8%. Strong cold and hot throw

I'm not familiar with the libbey uni tumbler, but I know it took me forevvveeer to find a good wicking system for the libbey status, which also has a 3" diameter.

Thank you. I know my wax has more soy in it than the 6006. I tried 8% and didnt seem to get a good throw with that ratio and my wax.  I love the smell guess I will keep trying!

  4. Wondered if anyone has great success with this fragrance. Im familiar with the original and when I smell Aztecs fo it smells spot on to me.

I use 3022 wax (70 soy 30 paraffin) and have had success with the CDN14 and CDN16 wicks. I have tried 8%, 9%, 10% and 12%. Which the most I have ever used before this fragrance was 9%.

My glass is the Libbey Universal tumbler which measures 3" in diameter. I am trying to get a strong throw. I know the original floods my house, and I was hoping this would be close to the intensity I want.

My question is if anyone who loves strong throws, have success getting it with this particular fragrance. And if so, how much fragrance did you use.

    Thank you!!

  5. I really am trying to make this scent work with my wax because my friend loves it.

I am using 3022 as wax (70 soy 30 paraffin). I am using the New Mown Hay from Sweetcakes at

    7.5%. I heated to 185 and pured around 180.

My glass is 3 inch diameter straight sided glass.

The problem I am having is all the wicks I have tried are drowning and not putting off a good hot throw at all. I have used CD12, CDN12,CDN14,CD and CDN 16, CD 18 and CDN18 and just tried tonight a Premier 780.

I am at a loss of why the drowning wicks.  I have also tried using my 3022 and mixing it with 30% 4694, to make it a firmer wax. And I am still having the problems.

Also with this fragrance I noticed that around the wick there looked like a little dark brown coloring to the wax. I have never seen that before with any other fragrance. Any ideas??

Any suggestions on wick size or something else I should do??

    Thanks for you help!!

  6. I recently discovered how amazing Aztec's oils are. They've been hitting it out of the park.

Their dupe of Anthropoligie's Capri Blue Volcano is spot on and throws great in parasoy. Sells like crazy.

Tobacco is a wonderful unisex scent. Sultry with brown sugar notes and just the right bit of vanilla. I rename it because people forget that tobacco is a flowering plant. They just think "cigarettes". Since renaming it, it sells much better.

    Fresh Cut Grass! Amazing.

Birthday Cake! So buttery and authentic and throws like CRAZY.

Can't wait to try more Aztec oils!

Hi I am also using a parasoy blend with Volcano dupe from Aztec. I agree it is amazing. Can I ask you how much fragrance you use per pound and what wick and size container you are using as well.

    Thank you!

  7. I placed an order with them a few weeks ago, excited to try some new FO. Haven't recieved them yet. Talked with the owner a few times (real sweetheart), she told me she ordered it, but it hasn't come in yet. Just wondering, since I've never ordered here before, does it take awhile to receive your order when ordering from this company?
