KMommy
I used a M&P base and added oatmeal which made it a nice exfoliant bar. I wanted to make a more natural type bar that didn't have dye or perfume. The oatmeal gave it a nice scent so it was fine. I noticed after being stored in the bathroom for a few days that it is soft. Not melting but a bit squishy:undecided Is there anything that I could add that would firm it up a bit but not make it greasy?
Jcandleattic
If it's not a clear bar you could add some stearic to it. I add that to mine that I need to harden up a bit, but I don't do much M&P so there may be a better additive that I just haven't used. Maybe somebody who does it more will come in and add to this. maryann
I've read beeswax also. I'm not happy with stearic acid, maybe I'm not using enough. So that's something I'm going to be testing. My bars are hard till their more than 1/2 way gone then I don't think they are, am I expecting too much from M&P??
