Information on starting a business

My husband and I have been thinking of starting a business. Can anyone suggest any good books that maybe helped you? I would really appreciate any insight! Thanks !!

also you might want to join your cities SBA They have great classes and you can network with other businesses. My city and probably most others offer free tax classes.

Not a book, but plenty of free information from the Small Business Administration. http://www.sba.gov/

This may not help you but I think it would be good reading.Last night I was at Wal Mart and in the magazine section was a book about 75 successful businesses that people had started.I am getting that book.I bet somewhere there may be one candlemaker.

You did not mention what business you want to start but with all that were listed (75) you can get some ideas as what people are looking for when wanting a service or product.HTH
