Are cremes different then lotions...? Where do you start..lotions or cremes both? Iwant to get started!!

Generally, I think people use the word creme when it's a thicker moisturizer than a lotion, with a lower % of water. I started lotion testing about 6 months ago, and just began with a basic recipe of an everyday, normal thickness lotion. Once that recipe was perfected to my taste, I started tweaking that one to produce a cream. Basically, it's less water, more butters instead of oils. If you're interested in a recipe, I can bump up a post I made a couple days ago with a good basic recipe in it.
