cactusladycandles Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 I am making jumbo cupcakes for my class reunion. Our mascot is a purple dragon. Does anyone know where I can find a dragon embed mold. I had one years ago but sold it with supplies. Of course, now I need it. I want to make these and put them on top of the icing. Quote
Bernadette Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I don't know where you can get one, but you may want to post this in general candle making instead of gel candle making for more responses. Good Luck!:tiptoe: Quote
Kitn Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Or you could post an ISO in the classifieds. Quote
Starr Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 This is probably too big but if you did oversize cupcakes, it might work: http://www.chocomolds.com/CMI027.html Quote
ProudMarineMom Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I'm not sure how quickly you need it, but maybe this one will work for you? He is in China so not sure how long it takes. Several people on another board have ordered from him and have been pleased with the molds. I'm hoping to place an order with him as well. He actually has quite a few really cute ones if you take the time to look through. hth - Jhttp://www.etsy.com/listing/68619746/dragon-silicone-handmade-soap-mold-cake?ga_search_query=dragon&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_6100451 Quote
cactusladycandles Posted February 2, 2012 Author Posted February 2, 2012 Thanks for the replies. What I need is a very small embed mold. Probably no more than 1" long. Quote
ProudMarineMom Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 These are the smallest I've seen, but they are flat. http://www.etsy.com/listing/76842515/flying-dragon-flexible-silicone?ref=sr_gallery_37&sref=&ga_includes%5B0%5D=tags&ga_search_query=dragon+mold&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=http://www.etsy.com/listing/78746398/dragon-flexible-silicone-mold-push-mold?ref=sr_gallery_5&sref=&ga_includes%5B0%5D=tags&ga_search_query=dragon+mold&ga_page=2&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet= Quote
