Gypsyjen
I don't use them, because of the risk of making the soap rancid or funny smelling after awhile (I don't use any preservatives in my soap).
fabulousfunfur
I used a 100% real fruit juice (strawberry, banana etc.) and yes it made the soap smell really disgusting! It was the only batch of soap I have ever thrown out! I let it sit for near 2 months and still it was a bad smell. I would really say no to doing this because of personal experience. RobinInOR
Lets see, I've used carrot juice as 100% of the water, pumpkin, applesauce at trace.... can't remember what else I've tried. I've had some failures - the key is not using too much puree. Maybe a tablespoon or less per pound oils.. Mostly they will change the color of your soap to tan, at least the ones I've tried.
