Wick Size Suggestion

My local craft store had a super sale price on mason jars, so the wife and I stocked up between me and her craft business. Anyways, I am looking for suggestions on wick sizes to use as I haven't done Mason jars before. These are standard Ball Mason jars in pint and quart size. I use C3 wax, and normally use ECO wicks. I was thinking maybe a 10 or 12, but looking for suggestions for those who have used the jars with this wax before. Thanks!

I've used C3 in 16 ounce mason jars and used Eco 10 and 12 wicks depending on the FO so I think you are right on the nose to start your testing.

In the 16oz I've used the ECO12...decided to go with another wick but the eco's worked well, I've never used the quart size so I can't help there

Hi,

I use that wax and jars.

In the quart mason I use 1 htp 1212

In the 16oz round jar I use 1 htp 126

In the 16oz square jar I use 1 htp 126 and sometimes can even use the htp 105 if it is a lighter scent

In the 8oz square mason I use 1 htp 105 wick

In the 8oz jelly jar I use 1 104 wick and sometimes can use the htp 93 if it is a light scent.

I am not sure of the diameter of the "standard" mason jars... There are so many out there. I use C3 and in the 3" 8 oz. wide mouth masons, I use a CDN 14. In the 16 oz. wide mouth, I use a CDN 12-14, depending. HTH
