Sndfrddy
Hi, I've been making candles for 10 years now. I only make and sell container candles. I used to burn pillars occassionally for myself but stopped buying since the better quality ones are so expensive. So, I thought I'd try making some for myself. Not selling. I'm not planning on adding fragrance or color. I was reading instructions on Peak's site. The only thing I would like as the quality is that it not drip so much. Any suggestions on which is the best wax and wicks for a drip free as much pillar with no fragrance or color? Thank much!
ChrisR
Beeswax always makes a great pillar!
rjdaines
IGI wax 4625 makes great pillars, no additives needed. FO at 6%. No drips with the right wick.
Candybee
You could make palm wax pillars that are designed to leave a wax shell. Then you would have a beautiful crystal patterned pillar that doesn't drip.
