crazzie
My heat gun just died! Any suggestion on a good brand and where to purchase. This one was from Archivers and only had for a couple months.
Nitewing
Harbor Freight. They are all made in China anyway.
Stella1952
Lowe's, Home Depot, WalMart, hardware stores, Harbor Freight, Office Depot... this is a very common tool & easy to find.
burnt_fingers
I bought a Black & Decker at Wally World for under $20. Two settings (high/low). Never needed to use high as low does the trick.
coconut
DH bought me a Milwaukee from Lowes after my cheap Harbor Freight model died. He didn't say what he paid for it but it is totally adjustable for heat settings and has been going strong for a few years now. I even use it to strip paint. Love it. Stella1952
I bought mine 6 years ago and it still works. When we needed to use two, I would use the hair dryer for substitute duty. Something in the $20-30 dollar range works well unless you plan to use it for heavier duty applications, like stripping paint, wallpaper, etc. Then get the big boy with the rheostat, accessories kit and just turn the temp & fan speed down. crazzie
I bought a wagner. Love it much better than the embossing blower.
