IwantItgreen
I'm just beginning to test this. The jar is the 11 oz from Peak and the cover is from BCN. The cover fits perfectly, but comes off easily and I was wondering if anyone used this combination and used shrink wrap to keep the cover on? Would the heat from the heat gun deform this lid? Any ideas otherwise on how to keep the lid on? As you can see, the lid has a hole in it so you sniff the fragrance through it. I'm concerned about having these on a store shelf like this. I really like the cheap cover option beings most people don't use the covers after they light up the candle the first time anyway. Appreciate your help :smiley2:! Stella1952
I think you'd wanna shrink wrap it to make sure it stays in place and so people will not reach in and touch the candle. I know there are SW bands available out there. If you are quick with the heat, it shouldn't warp the top, but you'll have to play with it. HTH & good luck! IwantItgreen
off to search for shrink wrap bands... Any ideas??I thought maybe cutting off of a pillar wrap would work, but those are too small in circumference... Stella1952
If you can't find the right bands, look for a size of "tube" shrink wrap that fits... you can cut it...

These Shrink Wrap Bands look good, and they have Shrink Wrap Bags also: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/StoreCategory.aspx?CatalogID=9&GroupID=722&CategoryID=1669&CategoryName=Shrink+Wrap+Bands Edited November 4, 2011 by HorsescentS
