Candybee
I was disappointed with their Nutmeg & Ginger. I smells fantastic OOB but just doesn't throw all the well. I mix it with gingerbread and that helps a lot. Also, you need to let this one cure in soy and palm for about a week.Have you tried their Iced Lemon Biscotti? OMG its ultra divine! This is the second year I've been using it.Their Angel is also nice. Great H&C throw. But I like CS Angel a little more.Yes the Cedar Garland has been a year round fragrance for me. I've been using it ever since I found it. Customers love the cedar and sandalwood notes. It throws well and scents the whole house. Also, their Christmas Tree is the best I've found. Reminds me of Tradewinds Christmas Tree. I was glad to find it. I also use their Tuberose & Jasmine year round in both soap and candles. Its been a good seller for me.I like their Lavender, Sage, and Rosemary. Its a milder lavender with an herbal note mellowed by the sage. Great scent combination. I use it as a spa candle blend.Their Amish Friendship Bread had not HT whatsoever. Plus, OOB I could not detect any bread notes at all. I tried with it because I wanted a warm baked bread scent but it has no scent. Also didn't care for their Gardenia. It smells like those white toilet bowl cleaners you attach to the bowl. I guess thats because it has this cloying sweetness to it that just doesn't work.Their other florals I've tried are very nice; Japanese Cherry Blossom is yummy, more blossom than cherry. Their Honeysuckle also worked for me when I was doing a straight honeysuckle. It sold very well. They have an Irish Moss? that smells nice but its too light for me. Wish this one were stronger because it has nice moss notes in it.I know there are others I've tried. Just can't remember them at the moment.Oh yes-- their Cocoa Therapy is divine! it smells just like Hersheys cocoa powder you mix with hot milk to make hot chocolate. It smells wonderful and I've used it in both candles and soap. Also uber yummy is their Butterscotch Brulee. This one you want to eat it smells so good. Candybee
I forgot I want to try their Pumpkin Spice Chutney. I smelled it at their showroom last time I was there and could kick myself for not picking up a sample. It smelled yummers and I may switch out my Pumpkin Soufle for it if it test okay in my wax. KarenOH
Thanks for the reviews! I also use 415 and have been wanting to try some of their oils since I get my jars there!! Now I know which ones to definitely stay away from!! :-)
NaturallyTru
I tried burning the Apricot Freesia again just cuz I wanted that one to work so bad. And it does! About 3 week cure time. Not sure if I want to monkey around with waiting since I don't stock my candles; but it is a nice scent.
