icecold
So I tried it last week added avocado oil and scented it Warm Vanilla Sugar. I added 2 oz yogurt to my oils and then added the lye water. After 24 hours it still looked like it was gellin' as it was a little translucent on top but it was hard, not sure why so I let it sit for 2 more days and then cut. It has cured for a few days and it is a weird green color and a little soft. It doesn't zap and it does look good other than the green color. Thought it would turn brown with the fragrance. I guess I can call it Avocado Yogurt soap!! Do they really sound good together?
Kitn
Sure why not call avocado yogurt. It could brown up some yet, some vanillas take time to go brown, others move faster. Was you avocado oil unrefined and dark green, if so that might account for the green color it has right now.
icecold
Its not dark green. I hope it hardens up a bit and sells well. Does avocado oil usually take a while to fully cure? Its my first time using it.
