Need help with tarts

I did my first batch of tarts with ecosoya pillar wax and they did not turn out, and I could use some help. They looked good, but when melting they had a very very faint smell. Could someone tell me what temperature I should be melting, adding fragrance and pouring? And how much fragrance should I be using. The directions I was following called for 1 - 1.5 oz per 16 oz of liquid wax. Any tips and help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I use Ecosoya PB too. I weigh my wax before melting. I add 17 oz of dry wax to my presto pot then melt to 185. I then pour it into my pour pot where I add dye and then 1 oz of FO. The FO goes in at approx 175-180 degrees. Stir then cool to 145 and pour into clamshells.
