pixie
Has anyone tried using palm wax tarts in Scentsy warmers? Specifically Glass Glow? I know glass glow has a higher melting point than many soy waxes so I was wondering if maybe palm wax is too hard for the scentsy warmers? IwantItgreen
I know glass glow is a container wax and am wondering if they would release neatly from the mold? Thinking you may need to add a little feather palm to get them to.
CatlinPM
If I remember correctly, when I tested Glass Glow tarts, they didn't release easily from the melter, but could be wiggled around a bit to pop out. Also, I seem to remember having some problems getting them to melt all the way through in low temp warmers, which I believe is what Scentsy uses? The only way to know for sure of course it to test them in a scentsy warmer, you could always add a bit of soy wax to the palm to soften it up a bit. sjconner
I have some palm tarts I received in a swap ... they are really pretty and seem to scent well. I bought some feather palm (pillar wax) from BCN. I just poured a few a couple days ago. I will test them this weekend and see how they work.Susan
