TxSioux
I have a mixture that I was given from another board. I'll dig it out. There was a running thread about which fo's worked & which clogged the stone. All the reviewed fo's were from BCN, since other boards are so uptight about acknowledging that any other supplier exists! I remember the main catch was you had to use a pure alcohol (91% or higher) & if you clogged the stone with a heavy or not usable fo you had to empty the mixture & burn pure alcohol to clean the stone. That's all there was to it, just alcohol & fo, but I'll look for the ratio.Susan.

babyrn
The recipe for the lamp oil is:16 ounce bottle of 91% alcohol1/8-1/2 ounce of fragrance oil (just depends on how strong you want it)Add fo to the alcohol bottle, shake and you are ready to use! TxSioux
Yep, that's the same one I have. I personally tried this w/a Fresh Sliced Oranges & it just didn't work, but in all fairness, it's a fo that I can not get to burn in a candle & have wicked up to the biggest wick size I have. Just been too busy to think about it again, maybe soon. Let us know what fo you try & how it works.Susan.

Grumpy Girl
I've been using this recipe in mine for several years. I haven't had a problem yet, and I love the variety I can have making it myself.
