Pipestr
So I am making candles for my daughter, who is a chicago bears fan. How do I get a navy blue, short of adding 1.5 oz of blue per pound? And will adding that amount of dye effect the burning?I am using Yaley concentrated dye blocks, that says to add less than 1/16 oz to a lb ........... I am up to 24 times THAT amount!
EricofAZ
Probably cheaper to buy an ounce of navy blue liquid dye from one of the suppliers. A few extra drops should do it. The Yaley is pretty weak. Maybe add a touch of black, but be careful there that it doesn't end up a midnight blue which is not going to be quite right I think.
