Scented
If you want to lessen the mottle affect, add some vybar to it. Do you have any other additives in your wax? You could lessen it with steric too. Seems to work for me.
debratant
Hi Scented. Thank you.I was just researching mottling on here and finally found the post alan posted eons ago lolhttp://www.candletech.com/cgi-local/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Discussions;action=display;num=1057327348;start=10#10I have not tried adding stearic to it...but will try that. I will try the vybar as well. Umm...I have 2 different vybars. I believe I will need the one for the higher melt point right? I have not used that one yet and can't even think of the number of it. I like the look of the 1243N with 3% stearic added. Really cool look. Edited November 21, 2010 by debratant typo
Scented
103 is the vybar you want for pillars. Just add sprinkles of it.
