I've been experimenting with a soyblend container wax and HTP wicks from ME Supply, when I blow the flame out, the wick smokes really bad and gives off this very bad odor. Is this normal for a HTP wick? If so I'm changing wicks.

I've had issues with frosting with the soy blend I'm using so I bought some ECO 464 from CS.

Any suggestions on a wick for 8oz jelly jars using ECO 464 blend from CS? I took their wick guide suggestion and ordered a sample of their ECO 4 wick.
