I need a good creamy shea for my whipped shea butter..I want something that has no grains and doesn't need to be tempered. The stuff I got from Colombus sucks! It is nice and creamy, and I have no grains in my shea butter lip balms after months of exposing them to temperature variations. I highly recommend this stuff. CBE Posted November 20, 2010 Share Posted November 20, 2010 I tried MMS Shea years ago, and I didn't like the fact that it was hard as a rock. Not sure if it's the same now, or not. The best shea butters I have found are from:Scent Works- it's unrefined, so it has that natural smokey smell, but it's soft and creamy, and not grainy. WSP- refined shea butter- another one that's soft and creamy, and it's ultra white with no smell.Texas Natural Supply- Their shea butters are also lovely!
