Judy, USMC
... and the trivets are great, too. http://cudakitchen.com/catalog-product.php?p_ref=8189I got tired of using my kitchen towels and getting wax on them. This was a great solution especially for those of you who use the double boiler method. Thanks for posting NurseNancy ... you always find neat stuff! I cannot take credit for this one, though. I had seen them before, even on here, but at this price I couldn't pass on it. Wildcrafter
I tried a silicone mold this week and the last week and the soap didn't want to come out and some of it stuck to the mold. Am I supposed to lube it up before pouring in the soap?
Barbara AL
Wildcrafter I use Baby Oil but you could use mineral oil.Barbara AL
nursenancy
Am I supposed to lube it up before pouring in the soap?I don't know yet, because I haven't used one yet, I anticipate using this for M&P and maybe CPHP. I'll probably stick with wood for CP. Maybe somebody else will have an idea on that question...

rebeccajo99
I have a silicone bread pan that I used to use when first starting m&p. I quickly stopped because the sides bowed out so it looked more oblong shapped. It was better when I build something to support the sides, but still not streight sided like I wanted. It was a different brand than this, so your results may be different.
dogmom1
It's been a few months since this post. Has anyone used the mold and if yes, how was it and how wide is each side?Thx,Ei
nursenancy
I never did receive the mold. I wasn't charged for it, though. It eneded up not being free shipping, and I decided at that point that I didn't need it.
