WendyByTheBay
Hi!! I have a question about making tarts. I have cases of 6006 sitting around. I have a feeling I won't be getting back to making candles anytime soon, so I am experimenting with making tarts with this particular wax since I have so much of it.I am not too clear on how long they should last. I made up a few scents, most at one ounce of FO per pound of wax with no additives.I am using a 12w candle warmer. (It is all I have at the moment)The first test, the scent knocked my socks off. My house is 1000sqft. Filled it up with very strong scent. Burned for 8 hours. Second day, was still pretty strong and burned for 6 hours. Today is the third day and I can smell it only if I am a few feet from the warmer.I had the tarts cure a whole week before I started to test.So is this average?Should I add something? What is normal for tarts? pixie
Im not sure what is average as I only have ever tried the tarts that I make myself. I use soy, and for me 2 days is about how long they last.
