eli
Hi all, newbie here, made some soap & of course didn't think the scent I used would have vanilla in it, so I didn't add the stabilizer. Of course, it turned tan......so, my question is, can I re-melt the soap & add the stabilizer? Will have any effect on the soap to make it clear again? Thanks so much in advance for your help!!!!! Noodle
Your base will stay tan- melted or not. You cannot make it clear. What you can do at this point is add the stabilizer and alter the color. For instance, you can add red color to make a nice cinnamon color. (I don't know if this will work with the scent that you used.) Sorry this happened to you! eli
That is what I was figuring - of course that would have been too easy of a fix, right . Oh well, make soap & learn - thanks for the reply!!!
