Johnna
I have a candle mold that is a rustic pillar, smooth sided but has wording carved into it.. "Simply". Anyhow, how can I put a stained finish on this to make it look aged and also to let the wording show more?
Candlebuddy
Try using men's solid shoe polish, it comes in a small tin. I put a small amount on a soft cloth, or you can use a soft brush (the kind men use to polish their shoes) ... rub it on the candle until you get the color you like. I used a dark brown polish and it came out really nice.
