Pierre
Is there a supplier specializing in designer fragrance dupes, meant for candles? Thinks like Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana, Cool Water, Stella, Eternity, etc, etc, etc?I can find the dupes easily but, most of the time they seem to be more meant for soaps and b&b. Anyone know of a good supplier specializing in them, that throw well in candles?
Scented
Most fragrance companies are carrying B&B/soap safe FOs so that the oil use is not limited to one specialty and most people prefer to be able to use an oil in something more than say candles or just soap etc. There are carriers of dupes out there. Take a look at AH/RE for some of what you listed. Tought they had a light blue and I think they have a Cool Water. Might even look at Lone Star. Stella is pretty limited in terms of availability out there, but she's at (or was at) Just Scent and The Scent Works. You can look at SOS if you want and probably find all of them there or maybe even WSP, but I went away from SOS long ago with no intention of ever returning. grama
The Light Blue from AH/RE is very stong and true in my paraffin so I am told, never smelled the "real thing"
kyme1911
Stella was my all time favorite...SC's had the best, but they discontinued it and my heart was broken. I tried to have it duped at TC, and that was a whole other story, that did not work out. I'm with you scented don't care for SOS, I don't like buying in grades. Well if you ever find a TRUE dupe for Stella let me know...please!Kyme
carol k
Millcreek has the light blue & cool water. Exotic fragrances probably has them all, but they are expensive. I've never had an issues with sos, but i've only bought their oils for b&b. I found their dupes to be dead on or very close to the real thing. ChrisR
Sweetcakes, Scent Works and Daystar are a few with excellent dupes that work great in candles.
