*Dee*
i have some of this and would like to try it, mine is white. from what i am reading it says it can help with dry skin. my question is when to add it to the soap ( i will be doing cphp) i am assuming at the end of the cook before molding ? also should i mix it with something so i dont have dry patches ? i was thinking about adding some goats milk to the end of my batches to, could i blend the clay in with that ? LuminousBoutique
when I use it I reserve about 1/2oz of one of my oils, blend it with that until its smooth and then add it at trace, right before pour. With HP... it should be the same. I've never done it with HP but it shouldnt affect the clay I would think
Kitn
When I use it , I add it to the warm oils and sb the heck out it , so it is well mixed in. Then make the soap as usual.

BruceCarvesWax
This is so weird! We collect geode rocks from a famous local area in the midwest and some of those geodes have kaolin powder (along with calcite crystals) in them. Some have an ounce or more. Wouldnt that be cool to use this in home-made soaps.... self collected Kaolin from 350 million year old hollow rocks! Bruce
Meridith
You can add it to the gm but make sure it gets mixed in well and there are no clumps left. It will leave a nice slip to the soap. I use it in shaving soaps.
