number2of7
I have searched and searched for a usage rate for Tea Tree Oil. Does anyone know how much to use, such as in a body butter or facial cream soap? Any help is greatly appreciated,Ken
LuminousBoutique
Personally, I’ll put it uncut right on my skin when I have a breakout, I keep some uncut in a roller bottle and roll it over any zits that pop up once a month… but I wouldn’t recommend that of course for selling. I looked up my notes on EO from school... All I had written down for Tea Tree is no more than 6% (pharmaceutical grade), but that would have been in regards to leave on products like lotion, skin creams. Maybe start with 4 and see how that feels.. you can always add more. In soap, I've used 1oz PP and its not too strong at all, I actually wasn’t pleased by how little remained so now when I use it I only do it with rebatch. Can't waste the precious patch lol.
Scented
Only thing I wish is that the calc would let me use more than one EO lol.
LuminousBoutique
yeah that would be nice! I'm glad I remembered that link because its really helpful with their FO's, their FO's are super concentrated and sometimes I forget what the use rates are
