Waynesworld
I am new to this candlemaking addiction, however I am enjoying the almost limitless creativity that one can introduce in candles. Just thought that I would pass this along to anyone else that might find this helpful. After giving up on trying to keep my wicks in place with stick tabs, high temp. hot glue, and usually bumping the top wickholding item when pouring. I gave up and went to poking them with the wicking rod thing. Except when they are cooled off too much, then the candle tends to want too crack. After checking with Harbour Frieght, Northern Tools , and others. I found the one eighth by twelve inch drill bit that, coupled with my trusty Dewalt cordless, works great. Hoping this might be of help to some out there. I found the bit at, of all places, SEARS. Happy Candlin All.
