hsteveberry
I am trying to make a series of Asian themed palm pillars and want to attach an embellishment around the pillar. I have long thin dried grass blades to use as a tie but need to find chinese or asian coins (you know the ones with the square holes) and i can't seem to find a source. Similar looking charms may work also.Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Steve
Candybee
The coins with the holes are Japanese. You need to go to a foreign currency exchange location. Ask your bank where theres one in your city.
Stella1952
I've seen these in jewelry-making locations. I Googled "Oriental jewelry charms" and came up with quite a list. You should be able to find the coin-style charms that way. Here's one with premade ccoin charms...http://asianideas.com/luclcota.htmlGood luck & happy hunting! I think I hit pay dirt...
