Phyra02
I made my first batch and everything turned out fine. My only issue is that it came out partially gelled. It's been 3 days since I have taken it out the mold to cure. Is there anything I can do to make it completely gel? Is it too late? I know this is really an aesthetics issue but just wondering. Kitn
Sorry that happened. There is nothing that can done at this point. I pop my mold in the oven @ 170 to ensure gel, I turn the oven off after an hour.
Phyra02
I figured. I have to get some wooden molds to try the same thing.
Kitn
Wooden molds do hold heat very well. If you know someone handy or you yourself can make them quite easily for very little money.
LuminousBoutique
You can rebatch that... with wood molds- Just be aware with some recipes (like milk recipes or with FO's that accellerate and heat up the soap) the soap can overheat and sweat or crack with wood molds. I have some batches I have to keep the lid off of, and put in a cold area or they really overheat.
