WillowBoo
Just received my sweet danie from Daystar. I wanted the scent of sweet annie that I always smell on a warm summer night in the country. OOB, it smells wonderful!!!!
candlelady
I ordered it as well, months ago, and was disappointed. I have sweet annie (the real stuff) and didn't smell anything like it...so I sold it. I love the smell and look of sweet annie, I have it in my flower arrangements in my house...Glad you like it, really.
WillowBoo
I hope it doesn't change in the candle then. Oh! that would be disappointing! Nothing smells better than sweet annie.
pixie
Just wondering, how did it work out in the candle. Did it smell just as good as it did OOB?
Rebeccca
Does anyone know where else I can get Sweet Annie FO? My very favorite tart scent is Sweet Annie from Scentsible Scents/Crowsline and I only have a few tarts left...they discontinued this scent a few years ago. I emailed them requesting if they would tell me where they got their FO from and they wrote back that it was only available in drum size and wouldn't tell me anymore. I could consider a drum! I tried Daystar's Sweet Dani in wax and it does not smell anything like the Sweet Annie from Scentsible Scents/Crowsline. I've googled every few months and have come up with nothing. I bought wax for the express purpose of making Sweet Annie tarts for myself and can't find the FO . Any help would be much appreciated! Another question....I have been hoarding three small tarts ... is it possible to have an oil duped from three small tarts?? Belinda
I'm not sure if it's possible to dupe a scent from a tart but Fragrance Buddy and The Flaming Candle Company both dupe fragrances. Maybe you could contact them and see what they think.Hope you find what you're looking for!

grama
I ordered the Sweet Dani in 2012 and just smelled it and it has a spicy type scent to me. Think I called it country store gift shop or something like that. I liked it because of the spice type scent.
TallTayl
On duping, some places say they "can" dupe from a soap or candle wax, but those soap or wax components will always be a part of the final fragrance, if that makes sense. When i send out fragrance for duping they need about an ounce of the actual material in liquid form so it can be processed in the gas spectrometer. How big of a drum are they talking? 10lbs? 25? That's not really all that much if several people love it!
Rebeccca
Thanks, grama and TallTayl! Mad Oils said they would check out one of my tarts...so I am sending it today. I definitely would take a drum but Scentsible Scents was very closed mouth and I have asked several other FO vendors about it and their research came up with finding that none of their suppliers have it. That is interesting about the soap/wax components. I can live with something close, though, at this point. I would love it in soap and wax...two things I never thought I'd be interested in making for myself but now have been soaping (and some waxing) like mad. Just need that Sweet Annie and I will be set for life :) Edited October 9, 2015 by Rebeccca
