Barnaby
I'm about to embark on my maiden soapmaking voyage and was looking for advice on adding Orange Blossom Water (Neroli Hydrosol) to my batch. Would this be something I add as part of the water/lye solution or would this be added at trace?Anyone have experience using this ingredient? I'd rather use the hydrosol as opposed to the EO because it is much more cost effective and I just want to use it as a top note in the overall scent which is based on a mix of EO's.Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Gypsyjen
You would replace part of the water with the hydrosol, before mixing in your lye. I don't know that you would get any of it's fragrance in your final product, however.
