HeavenScentU
I am curious how everyone displays their clamshells? Any ideas are greatly appreciated......
Candybee
When I made them I used a floor spinner stand that can also be converted to a table spinner. But it now sits in the corner of a spare room because I no longer do clamshells.
countyline
I bought a pegboard tabletop display on ebay (blackriverartgallery-they have lots of great displays!) but it didn't arrive in time for my show (not their fault!) so I wound up going with a ton of baskets from the dollar tree. I could fit 4 each of three scents in each basket, then I put them on risers so I had three tiers of like 4 or 5 baskets across. It actually looked really nice, and I think I am going to do the same thing for my next show. The pegboard would have worked, but I kind of liked the "homier" feel with the baskets. I think I am going to use the pegboard for my aroma beads instead. Really, you can't beat $1 a basket, and they are very easy to transport. Just stack them up and go! They do take up a lot of space in your booth this way, but clamshells are like 80% of what I make, so that isn't a problem for me. If you need the space, I would go with the pegboard or a floor spinner. HTH!
mparadise
I picked up 2 inexpensive spinner rack from Store Supply Warehouse. It was $18 ea plus shipping. I like them because I can use both poles and use it as a floor display or just use one of the upright poles and use it as a table top display. Check out the rest of their website as well, they have some really great deals and their customer service is awesome (had one issue with a defective shelving unit, made a 5 min call and had the replacement shelving and call tag for the bad one the next day).http://www.storesupply.com/c-850-spinner-racks.aspxThe only word of warning I would have is if you do outdoor shows make sure to lay a paver stone or large flat rock across the bottom of the feet because it is top heavy when loaded and will tip in a strong wind. With the rock to offset the weight I've had no issues with it. Worth it's weight for me in gold (& then some!) because I put this right at the front edge of my booth loaded with aroma bead car fresheners and people almost never walk past it without stopping to sniff the sample ones I have out. mparadise
Oh, I also forgot to mention...the other reason I like them is that they break down into small enough pieces that I can throw them in a large tote bag for easy transport.
