Dustpuuppy
Only problem I know of with remelting wax is burning off the FO. Other than that I can't see any problem with doing it as much as you want. At least with paraffin.
3lephant1
Hi,I make balloon candles all the time at a Museum. I found using a plastic container to pour the wax into, cools the wax a bit. I dip the balloon into the wax about 10 times. I also cool the wax by dipping it into a bucket of cool water, dry it off and dip into the liquid wax. If I am making a luminary, I sit the balloon on a tray to cool with the water in it. If I am making a solid candle, I snip the balloon out and empty the water. I fill it with dry pellets of beeswax then pour in liquid wax with a scent. It combines the waxes. I let it cool and wick it. I now have a ball of scented beeswax. I like to drip colors over it or carve into layers of different colors. It's really fun, They turn out great. It can look elegant or fun. It's all how you decorate it.
