My Cs Order Came Today!!!

All of the FO I ordered is amazing, which are all listed below. I also ordered 2 cases of 8oz jelly jars and I think they are perfect, just what I was looking for. last but not least I ordered 10lb 464 soy, when I got home from work I had to make atleast one candle so I chose Sex on the beach! I just made this candle a few hours ago and the cold throw is awesome, I can not wait to see what the heat throw is like not to mention is looks excellent in the jelly jar! This was the first time ordering from CS and I am very pleased with everything.

I had a hard time with them. They quoted me $70 for shipping then charged me $100. When I contacted them they completely ignored me, even tho they charged my credit card more then they said via the phone.

Did they overcharge you on shipping? I never got the 200lbs weight discount, even after order over 4 cases of wax!

I'm not sure their shipping calculator is accurate, I ordered 2 cases of jars, sample f/o's and 2 cases of lids, shipping was quoted at $24.00.

I wanted to wait and make sure I had ordered all the samples I wanted for now, so I didn't place my order right away, but waited too long and it wipped out my shopping cart.

I went back and ordered the exact same items as before, but this time shipping was $16.00. Fortunately that's what I was charged, I'm glad I waited. LOL

It's been my experience, that if you have a large/heavy order, call them and place the order via phone, they can then give you an exact shipping quote....internet shipping calculators are not accurate for large orders.

Honeydew Melon - Strong and nice

Strudel and Spice- One of my fav's better than the Cinnabuns

cinnabuns - okay need to try in wax

Hanzel and Gretal - just like Oatmeal Raisen Cookies

Spice Wasatail - This does smell like Juicy Fruit Gum

Asian Amber :lipsrseal Don't like this one

Very Vanilla - I like this a buttery but not super buttery vanilla

i really hope this throws in soy.. that would be awesome

Creme Brulee - OOB not sure if its so strong but smells good

Cranberry Marmelade - This is spicy and very good

Vanilla Frosting -Very good doesn't smell like Buttercream frosting so I'm happy with it hope it throws

Fresh Coffee - Smells good maybe the best straigt coffee I've tried

Brandied Pears - very interesting sniff

Carmelized Pralines -Smells really good

Cotton Candy - I think this maybe the best (have to try in wax)

LoveSpell - I don't like this one, I have a better one from Aroma Haven

Rain Water - Nice Fresh and I smell florals

Mistletoe - Smells like Christmas tree very strong

Watermelon - Well its okay I've never found a good Watermelon In my opinion that really smells true

Pumpkin Souffle - I love this one buttery but not too much yummy

All of them smell quite strong OOB except maybe the Creme Brullee

I can't wait to test all of these out!!

I had no problem with the shipping, my package was about 25 lbs, I live in PA and the cost for shipping was $13. To me that is normal for a package this size, I ordered on Monday afternoon and had the package Wednesday afternoon. This was by the far the fastest shipping I have had so far. If you have a package over 50 lbs and you ordered online the shipping calculator could have been alittle off, if you are placing a large order the best thing to do is order by phone. I believe it says something on the websites when placing orders that the shipping is an estimate and may not always be accurate 100% accurate. I will be ordering from candle science again, I can not wait to sample more of their FO! I am sorry that some of you had bad experiences.

I looove CS. The cranberry marmalade, plumeria, very vanilla, birds of paradise, juniper breeze, chardonnay, gardenia, honeysuckle jasmine, mango papaya, mulberry, and spiced wassail all rocked in 4630. Basically almost everyone I tested. The cranberry marmalade and spiced wassail are so strong. They filled my house. Can't go wrong with CS.

P.S. They are also very fast with answering emails and helpful with questions I have had.

I did place it on the phone! She (the woman who took my order) gave me a total then they sent my invoice charged my card and charged me more for shipping. I've emailed them twice they ignored me. Instead they sent me a newsletter?

It's not so much the extra $$ in shipping as being ignored. I'm not trying to be petty but I could have ordered the same stuff from WSP for $20 less with their shipping discount.

I'm glad you got a great order. I'm not putting down their stuff, however I will never order there again. Never have I been ignored when asking about being overcharged from any company. Maybe I should call them tomorrow? They can't ignore me on the phone.

I am sorry I vented in your thread, it just bugs me and I was curious if I was the only one they get an extra $10 or $20 from. It really makes me upset. They lied and charged what they wanted to my card. What if it made me go over the credit limit and I didn't know it? I mean you don't give a person a total then charge whatever you feel like charging. Right?

You should call them. I never EMail if they have a phone, who knows if it get to the right person. And my EMail get lost sometimes so never trust anyone elses. Then if you talk to some one and nothing is done ask for the owner.....maybe that will work.

WOW - you did get a great variety of oils.

As for the shipping charge problem ~ yes, I'd call them. I've had excellent customer service and a response within 24 hrs during the work week ... so this poor response seems a bit unusual.

I know there was a problem with the cart when I ordered. Shipping for 50# of wax and 48 sample bottles plus other stuff came to only $7! Looks like it didn't pick up the box of wax. I didn't notice it since I did the order half asleep. Their customer service rep called this afternoon to get permission to add the extra shipping.
