I feel really dumb now but....?

can yu tell me the difference between lotion bars, balms, cremes and now sugar cubes? What kind of container do you put em in? I have been making soap for a while now and read this forum daily. Have started making what I call a balm, all oils, no beating and putting it in a jar. With a perservative of course but.... I love the sound of some of the other things you are making and just dont know what to put them in. Thanks

lotion bars are really a solid mix of butters, oils, and usually beeswax, balms are a softer mix of butters and oils and maybe beeswax - usually put in a tin or a small jar, sugar cubes are typically a solid scrub product (with sugar in it) molded into small squares for single use.
