Melanie Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 can yu tell me the difference between lotion bars, balms, cremes and now sugar cubes? What kind of container do you put em in? I have been making soap for a while now and read this forum daily. Have started making what I call a balm, all oils, no beating and putting it in a jar. With a perservative of course but.... I love the sound of some of the other things you are making and just dont know what to put them in. Thanks Quote

Thankslotion bars are really a solid mix of butters, oils, and usually beeswax, balms are a softer mix of butters and oils and maybe beeswax - usually put in a tin or a small jar, sugar cubes are typically a solid scrub product (with sugar in it) molded into small squares for single use.
