I know adding beeswax to soy will make the melt harder. Will it help with making the melt smell stronger? I have never used beeswax and need your opinions. What is the difference between using white, yellow or filtered beeswax? Thank you.

I tried beeswax as an additive for a bit - a little goes a LONG way. My main gripe with it was that it seemed to increase the dreaded C3 crack around the wick, so I quit using it for the most part. I did not notice that it had any effect on hot throw one way or the other. I use USA as an additive and like the results I get from its use very much. It smooths out the wax a little, helps discourage frosting and enhances scent throw. If you search the veggie wax forum for USA, you'll find a recent thread with several sources for it. HTH :)
