I've been educating myself reading this forum for about six months. I finally got the nerve to try my hand at candle making about 3 months ago. I've found most of the answers and feed back from friends has been awesome. I finally got my repour right for smooth tops. Thanks to everyone.

I love the idea of no dye candles, but I want to know that if need be I can use color. How do I fix this?

FO: none

Heated to 180, Poured at 140 into molds warmed in the oven. Both were poured at the same time from the same batch. Room temp 72, cooled at same temp in card board box.

The one on the right is frosting and the one on the left hasn't started frosting yet. I would suggest pouring a little hotter ~ 165°. Or a LOT cooler... Check out the PB instructions from the manufacturer's site for some ideas...

Also - I find that stirring continuously before and during pouring is very important to keeping the wax temp even.
