4630 or 4627

I can get both of these locally and am going to start testing.

I was wondering, which do you prefer and why.

I like the 4630 better. For me it is easier to wick and I prefer the slab form. I never could figure an easy way to work with the 4627. As for HT, I think the 4627 is a bit better.

I prefer 4627. It's sticky but I cut it wil a drywall knife, like this.

It's fast and easy.

Never tried the 4630, no reason when you have the 4627, LOL, JMO. I can get both locally also so maybe someday I will try some.

I have used both and prefer 4627, colors better, less wetspots, use htp wicks with either one and you'll do fine...
